It is a pleasure to serve the students, parents, and teachers of Carmel Elementary continuing the excellence established here. I began my career in 1993 in Clarksville-Montgomery Schools as a second grade teacher. I have also taught kindergarten. I have been an administrator as both an assistant principal and a principal at Glenellen, Byrns Darden, Liberty, and Kenwood Elementary Schools. I attended Trevecca Nazarene University as an undergraduate and graduate student earning a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership. My husband and I have been married for 30 years and are proud parents to twin boys who have both served in the military.
Carmel principles promote Character, Opportunities, Leadership, and Teamwork to build Success. I look forward to working with students in various capacities to develop these principles in a variety of ways.
