Hello! My name is Sarah Deemer and I am so excited to start another year as a first grade reading and math intervention teacher at Kenwood Elementary. I am from snowy Erie, PA. In 2015, I graduated from Grove City College with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I went on to get my Masters as a Reading Specialist in 2019. I was a substitute teacher in Pennsylvania for four years and then served as an AmeriCorps member, which involved teaching small reading groups. Some of my favorite things are sweet tea, mystery novels, British television shows, and Disney. I expect this year to be a magical one and am so looking forward to meeting my students!
