My name is Haleigh Smith and I am currently a 4th Grade Math and Science Teacher. Although I am new to Kenwood Elementary, I am not a stranger to CMCSS. I have worked with the school system for 5 years and am an alumni of it as well. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Austin Peay State University in Mass Communication. I am currently working towards my Masters in K-5 education with SPED endorsement from Lipscomb University. My graduation date is December 2024. Everyday I wake up wondering what difference I can make in a child's life and seeing the lightbulb go off brings me the upmost joy. Empowering students to have the confidence in themselves is a goal I set very high for myself.
