Hello! I am McKenzie Roeske and I will be teaching special education resource for 2nd grade. This will be my 2nd year in special education but third teaching. Before teaching I was a teacher resident here at Kenwood Elementary where I taught alongside some of the best teachers for 2 years. I have a bachelor's degree in K-5 and a special education K-6 endorsement. I have lived in Tennessee practically my whole life, but am originally from Ohio. I have been married for a year and just had a beautiful baby boy in March. When not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books, and binge watching tv. My favorite thing to teach my students is progress over perfection, we all grow at different rates. I am so very excited to have your student this year and can’t wait to watch them grow and achieve their goals!
