My name is Mesha Averitt and I am a Fourth Grade Science Teacher. I was born and raised in Southern Illinois and graduated from SIU at Carbondale with a Bachelors Degree in Education. I obtained my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership through Trevecca Nazarene University. I began teaching in the Spring of 1996. I have taught Kindergarten, First, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Middle School. My husband and I will have been married for twenty-five years this May. We have two children: Madison, our daughter who is attending APSU, and Patrick, our high school son.
