Hi! I’m Sami DeRossett! This is going to be my 6th year of teaching. This will be my first year teaching in the CDC setting. I have experience in the areas of Resource, Developmental Pre-K, and Extended Behavior Services. When I am not working, I like to spend time reading, hanging out with my family, and volunteering at my church. Some of my favorites; Food: pizza; Color: Purple; Season: Summer!; Drink: Dr. Pepper; Book: Anything Nicholas Sparks and Movie: The Blind Side. My niece is one of my favorite people to hang out with because she keeps me laughing and we complete so many fun activities together! I am originally from Chicago and I moved down to Tennessee to pursue my undergraduate degree from APSU. I received that in 2018 and then I completed my master's in Curriculum and Instruction in 2020. I am currently working on my Educational Studies degree. I am so excited to be a Kenwood Knight this coming year!
