Hello, Kenwood families! I’m grateful to be part of the Kenwood and CMCSS communities. I began teaching in CMCSS in 2006 and am passionate about helping students discover what they can do and how movement can build their confidence. My goal is to provide opportunities to learn a variety of skills aligned with Tennessee’s PE standards, so students can explore their strengths and find ways to stay active throughout their lives. I hope the confidence, perseverance, and teamwork they build in PE carry through the school day and beyond.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from North Georgia College & State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Belmont University. As a former college athlete, I value the encouragement and teamwork that help students grow.

Outside school, I enjoy working out, spending time with my family, going on adventures, watching my three sons play sports, and growing in my faith. I look forward to a wonderful year with our Knights!
